rezaban LOS ANIMALES NO SON OBJETOS, LOS ANIMALES NO SON ESCLAVOS y HASTA

On Friday, the 22nd of
July a group of activists of Action Vegan Argentina jumped to the central
track of the Exhibition of Cattle, Agriculture and Industry in the property
that the Rural Society has in Palermo, city of Buenos Aires, where 125 of
the same one realized the edition.
This happened during a competition
of equine, where the activists demonstrated against the animal development
in the agricultural industry. Exhibiting cartels with abolitionists legends
they entered to the sand and almost immediately they were evicted by safety
personnel of the property, which quit the cartels and escorted them up to
the exits of the track, although not with the sufficient rapidity as so that
the spectators were not managing to read the printed slogans that were
praying THE ANIMALS ARE NOT OBJECTS , THE ANIMALS ARE NOT SLAVES and
TILL WHEN? , the latter legend accompanied by the image of a hanging cow
being drained in the slaughterhouse.
The public booed and whistled
the activists, applauding when they were evicted.
Nevertheless many
persons approached to ask about what the action was talking each other and
they were informed about the motives and also basic concepts of abolitionism
were transmitted. Another group of activists remained in the principal entry
distributing frills and speaking with the people who was entering and was
going out of the exhibition.
