imprisoned in bare wire cages all over Australia, millions more
worldwide (approximately 865 million) just to be slaughtered for
their flesh and fur. The truth is that farmed rabbits suffer in just
the same way as other intensively reared animals. These rabbits will
never experience fresh air, grass under their feet, or the chance to
run, jump or dig.

UPROAR confronting duck shooters (2009)UPROAR rescue team joined CADS (Coalition Against Duck Shooting)
on the opening morning of the duck season, and illegally entered the
wetlands to move birds away before shooters arrived. We distracted
shooters, explained to shooters why we are opposed to the
unnecessary killing of birds, as well as making creative use of our
signs, 'Big Gun, Little Dick', 'Coward' and 'Animal Abuser'. We wore
bright coloured clothing for our safety and to alert the birds of
the dangers below. If you support the permanent banning of duck
shooting in Victoria please visit: www.duck.org.au
