Austrian ARAs Need Support

"The animal rights activists who are standing trial in Austria and facing up to five years in prison without justification need your help! Not only have the Austrian parliament refused to amend the anti-mafia law that has been misused against the activists, but it is now about to vote on a new anti-terrorist law which, according to Amnesty International, can be another powerful weapon against inconvenient social activists!

Please protest against the violations of human rights by sending an email to the Austrian politicians: http://www.shameonaustria.org/en/protest.php. Share this link with your friends!

We also need activists to participate in our worldwide chain campaign by organising a protest action in your town/country. Recently, Czech activists have managed to appear in the mainstream media with the blockade of a Czech-Austrian border crossing, but we certainly need more media attention. Write to english@shameonaustria.org if you are ready to participate.

Thanks for your help!"

And here are some videos of a demo organized for the Austrian activists in the Czech Republic, it was shown on TV :

Dear friends,
