Austrian activist trial may be reaching favorable conclusion The prosecution at the Austrian activist trial was forced to disclose
that they had an undercover agent in place participating in the VGT
(Association Against Factory Farming) activities for 17 months. However the
undercover agent "Danielle Durand" reported no illegal activities by the
group. This poses a major blow to the prosecution's case, and the trial may
be adjourning shortly with the defendants found not guilty. VGT is considering prosecuting the prosecutors for misconduct in placing
the undercover agent, which is permissible only to prevent commission of a
