Minks on the run

Last weekend about 4000 minks have been released from an animal farm in Frankenförde (Teltow Fläming). In the meantime already approximately 2000 animals were caught again, according to Wednesday's issue of the "Märkische Allgemeine".

Initial investigations indicate that the animals have been released by animal welfare activists.

The company informed that the alarm system had not been activated, the reason for this failure is unclear.
