anonymous communique to Biteback:

"ON THE WEEKEND FROM 26-28 JANUARY WE A PAID A VISIT TO THE MINK FARM OF ALFONS GROSSER, NEAR MELLE, LOWER SAXONY, GERMANY. DESPITE SECURITY MEASURES ON THE SITE, IT WAS NO PROBLEM FOR US TO ENTER THE FARM AND DESTROY SEVEN HUNDRED MINK CAGES WHICH WERE SOON TO BE POPULATED WITH MINKS. A. GROSSER IS THE HEAD OF THE GERMAN MINK FARMERS ASSOCIATION AND ONE OF THE BIGGEST REMAINING FUR FARMERS IN GERMANY. AT THE FARM THERE SOME NEW, SLIGHTLY BIGGER CAGES, ACCORDING TO THE NEW FUR BREEDING LAW WHICH IS NOTHING BUT A JOKE COMPARED TO THE NEEDS OF FUR BEARING ANIMALS. INSTEAD OF A COMPLETE BAN OF FUR FARMING, AS IT HAPPENED IN AUSTRIA AND ENGLAND, THE GERMAN GOVERNMENT HELPS THE FUR INDUSTRY IN THE CONTINUOUS MURDERING OF ANIMALS.

UNTIL EVERY CAGE IS EMPTY AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS FREE.

A.L.F."
