March 27, 2011. Greek Animal rights activists threw red paint at two women who wanted to visit the 1st International Fur Fair at Anthousa ExpoAthens. They also chanted 'Murders!' to other visitors entering the premises.

The Activists had taken post with banners saying 'Freedom to Those in Cages' and black flags since the morning hours. Riot police squads were there as well and  didn't hesitate to use some sound flares to disperse the group.

The activists were protesting the cruel and brute suffering of animals for the shake of the fur industry.
