night for the jailers,' we then disappeared into the night from which we
came. We want every cage empty! "

BLACKENS DOORWAY AT ZOOLANDIA WAREHOUSE

received anonymously (rough translation):
"The Animal Liberation Front / Barry Horne Commando
claim responsibility for the explosion followed by arson at the
warehouse of Zoolandia pet shop in Sassuolo (Mo), Italy on the night of
5th november. Two devices with timers were placed in front of the
door. We took every precaution to safeguard animals inside the shop.
The devices were composed of a tube with 3 Kg. of ammonium nitrate
inside to destroy the door and a tank with 20 liters of gasoline + 5 Kg.
of sugar to ignite the arson. With this action we continue to attack
the Zoolandia pet shop chain and animal exploitation. With the bomb
on this night we hail Barry Horne and we don't forget him and all like

lose their freedom for the cause? This is our answer to this

COMMUNIQUE,
PHOTOS RELEASED FROM FUR FARM RAID

anonymous communique (click
here to view additional photos):
"On the night of the 15th of September 2009 we decided
to launch an autumn/winter 'fashion collection' which leads to freedom,
the only one we appreciate. We entered inside the mink farm called
Valle Salice, located in Castel di Sangro, on the highway 652, under the
viaduct II/Valle Salice. At first we cut a large part of the fence
and then we opened the worn cages situated in the four sheds of the farm
containing 2000 minks (not only 130 as reported by the media). All these
living beings are tortured waiting to become another consumer good.
Our untameable desire for freedom is what drove us. This action
represents for us the destruction of an anthropocentric and speciesist
point of view, which considers other animals as objects to be exploited
and not like beautiful individuals. At last we damaged tools,
machinery and feed located in a small warehouse.
The only 'fashion show' we like to see is thousands of
mink running away and searching for a trickle of water and a chance to
get back what humans stole from them, the humans who deported them to
breed here, condemning their whole existence, and surely not those who
opened the cages!
The only way to support the ALF is being the ALF.
Opening the cages is the only right way to free the animals.

TWO FUR FARMS
FOUND ABANDONED
reported by activists in Italy:
"August 2009
The Animal Liberation Investigation Unit (ALIU)
announced the final closure of 2 mink farms in Italy.
- The De Nardi farm in Vittorio Veneto (TV) was found
locked and long abandoned. Instead of mink in the sheds, some sheep
roam. We entered the farm at nightfall and we found some cages with
birds inside. Although our aim was only to document the closure of
the farm, we could not leave these beautiful animals locked in tiny
cages, so we smashed the cages and watched the birds fly away. De
Nardi until a few years ago was president of the Italian Mink Farmers
Association.

(click

- The Anipel mink farm in San Martino Buon Albergo (VR)
is finally closed. All cages and sheds are empty. Some sheds were being
dismantled and cages were stacked outside along with a truck for sale.
The walls of the sheds still have messages painted by activists who
previously visited this farm, and the building that houses cold storage
and warehouses has no roof, which was probably destroyed in the
fire of 2006.
A dozen dogs are still confined on the grounds of the farm."

capanni scorrazzano alcune pecore.
anno f era presidente dell'Associazione Italiana Allevatori Visoni.

HARES LIBERATED
reported on
finoallafine.info:
"In the night of August 2, 2009 a
hare farm in Manerbio (Brescia - Italy) was attacked by anonymous
liberators. A communique states that all the fences surrounding this big
farm (described as large as 2-3 football fields) were opened to let the
hares run free. More animals are kept in sheds too near the farmer's
house and couldn't be released.
The swimming pool of the farmer was filled with red
paint and spraypainted slogans left all around it on chairs, tables and
a barbecue."
all'abitazione dell'allevatore, mentre il resto era diviso in diversi
spaventati avrebbe allarmato l'allevatore.
esseri viventi!"

BOAR LIBERATION
anonymous report: "Anonymous activists opened the fences that kept
a big boar imprisoned in a wood near Genova, Italy. The boar had been
captured with sedatives and ropes because the Region decided he was a
menace for humans. A so-called animal welfare organization built his
3mx3m prison and kept him there in isolation to save him from hunters
going after boars. After being freed he was seen rejoining immediately
with other boars that arrived to cheer his freedom." Italian:
clandestini.
cattura, veniva sottoposto a periodiche visite previa prenotazione
presso la suddetta associazione. In luglio dopo mesi, sicuramente

In

May 2, 2009 -- Cars Set on Fire at Home of Fur Farmer
reported by activists in Italy:
"April 29th, Novi di Modena (Italy)
Italian newspapers report that three cars of mink farmer Luciano
Gasparini Casari were set on fire in the courtyard of his house during
the night. His son helped firefighters to control the flames.
Newspapers report that it is clearly the work of animal liberationists,
since his farm has been raided twice in the past (the last time just a
few months ago)."

van, 1 car used to deratization, 2 cars of hunters. Glued locks of a
butcher shop. We attacked more times some of them"
April 19, 2009 -- Pheasants Fly Free From Cages
anonymous report:
"In the night of March 18th a pheasant farm in Rivarolo Mantovano
(Italy) was visited by FLA -Fronte Liberazione Animale. The pens were
empty, but all the breeders were kept in 7 sheds with 3 rows of cages
each, one over the other, constantly illuminated by artificial light.
The activists opened all the cages and cut all fences, seeing the
animals fly free in the night sky."
una sopra all'altra, disposte in 7 lunghi capanni, contenenti centinaia
passiamo all'azione!

April 3, 2009 -- Cages Opened At Fur Farm (delayed report)
anonymous commmunique received by aboveground activists in Italy
(translation):
"Sunday, December 14, 2008
Taking advantage of a storm we entered in the Pisacane fur farm in
Santuario (Savona). Our goal was to liberate the animals and inflict
economic sabotage to those who make money on their suffering.
The presence of alarms in one part of the fence and the proximity of the
house made it impossible to open fences, all reinforced for the fear of
liberators.
So we dismantled rows of cages from an empty shed and put them as
bridges to freedom.
Opening the cages in 4 sheds was done in a moment. As a lightning in the
storm we hit and disappeared.
For the mink."
Italian:
"Domenica 14 dicembre 2008
e siamo spariti.
per i visoni."

February 22, 2009 -- Fur Farm Raid - Claim of Responsibility
anonymous communique (translation):
"Monday, February 9 - Fossoli (Modena)
A full moon saw us in action in the mink farm of Rossi Italo in Fossoli.
Some hundred meters away from here are the remains of a concentration
camp from which the prisoners were sent to Auschwitz. The remains of a
sad page in history.
Similar sheds, one after the other, full of prisoners, thousands of them
waiting to be gassed, are a page still open in human history, still
present in Fossoli near the house of Rossi Italo. Here the victims are
mink, but the mentality is the same. After moving the security camera
and smashing the lights which turn on when someone enters the farm, we
removed the metal barrier from the fence, put on there to prevent the
mink from crossing it.
Then we started cutting open hundreds of cages, giving the
prisoner mink a way to get out. Unfortunately we couldn't just open the
cages because of alarms in the sheds, and cutting cages with
bolt cutters was possible only for the breeders in 3 sheds. We left
spraypainted slogans like 'close down this concentration camp also' and
'ALF'.
Nothing will stop us. Only closing down the farm will give peace to
Rossi Italo.
ALF"
Italian (original):
"Luned 9 febbraio - Fossoli (Modena)
Italo a Fossoli.
migliaia
ALF"
