Luca Bonvicini

Luca Bonvicini was arrested in Paris in March 2013 after two months on the run. He is accused of involvement in four arson attacks targeting the meat and dairy industries that took place in Italy in late 2012, including the December 31 action in which 8 trucks belonging to a dairy company were destroyed.

Luca has been extradited to Italy. Please check back for updates.

Note: Two other individuals have been arrested in connection with the arsons, at least one of whom has links to fascist groups. Bite Back has been assured that Luca does not follow authoritarian and discriminatory ideologies.

March 19, 2013 - RABBITS, CHICKENS RESCUED

The attack is at least the fourth in recent months in the Tuscany region of Italy. In early October, ALF activists entered a slaughterhouse in Colle Val d'Elsa and sabotaged the electrical system and machinery. A truck was destroyed by fire at a meat company in Troghi on October 27, and on November 24 the ALF set fire to a truck at a slaughterhouse in San Giovanni Valdarno.
