ROME - An animal rights group has brought the show back at the Coliseum — only this time jugglers and clowns took the stage instead of gladiators fighting wild beasts.

Italian animal rights group LAV used the Coliseum — with its tradition of bloodshed, both human and animal — to raise awareness as part of its campaign to ban animals from circuses.
