On 30/11/2011 we set out to spike forest roads in a
hunting resort of Naro-fominsk district (Moscow region). We can't
find words to describe our happiness at discovering a forest service
vehicle parked on a remote trail. It was a mystery for us if they were
there on an ambush (they were sort of hard to spot initially), or simply
taking a rest away from their bosses (as russian enforcement agents are
prone to do). So we spiked about 2 kms of the road in both directions
from teddies. We wish them a cold and lonely night in dark forest.
We felt emotions akin to those every anarchist with molotov in a back
pack must have felt when she suddenly came upon an empty police car.
Forest service officers do not protect forests or wildlife, they are
there to make it possible for hunters kill animals (for a bribe or due
to dubious legislation), they rob tourists during tourist seasons, they
turn a blind eye towards tree-cutter.
We salute young men and women from ALF-Moscow for their
courageous acts. The struggle continues until total liberation!

01.06 we torched electrical measuring and control
devices in 2 underground service booths of a water communication system
that brings hot water to a military intelligence site in Butovskiy
forest. To add to the fact that this infrastructure serves military
personnel, more than 800 trees were cut during earthworks for this water
supply line to even appear in the forest. To hamper service brigades
further, we also spiked the road they use for maintaining the system.
05.06 we torched an excavator at a highway construction
site west of Moscow (Volokolamsk direction).
06.00 and 10.06 we expropriated some construction
equipment and destroyed geologists measurement posts in the glades of
Butovskiy forest.
11.06 we broke into yet another underground service
booth and put to fire all the digital and analog devices and tools
inside.
We dedicate these attacks to Marie Mason and Eric
McDavid. We dont have an honour of personal acquaintance with them, but
their dedication to protecting our Planet and conscious choices theyve
made not only to act, but also to stand their ground in the wake of
state repressions, inspire us and help us to continue on our path.

"During the night of may 4th we sneaked upon another
tree harvester and torched it, using the heavy rain as cover. 15 minutes
later it exploded (we suspect fire in hydraulics to be the cause).
Police and city officials confirmed the succesful torching and evac of
the destroyed vehicle (link to the eco-campaign site with citations:
http://ecmo.ru/news/n-1778/).
This spring saw works to clearcut a huge Khimki forest
continue unabated. In spite of numerous and massive people protests, all
the legal and liberal stuff (polls, petitions, law suits, concerts,
demos, vigils, etc.), authorities, law enforcement, and their fascists
and mafia lackeys (forever together in Russia) push for the completion
of clear-cuts so that they may get on to the actual road-building. And
in one part of the forest theyve already redirected a flow of a river
(a single and major body of water and site of significant avian
population in the area) to facilitate construction of a road junction

We ask of all whom it may concern to consider actions
agains Vinci, France (the international consortium financing this
deforestation project), as it seems the only viable target outside
Russia. Appreciation for your solidarity out there, people, and our
solidarity with your local fights of our global resistance!

"On the night of april the 20th, 2011, we torched
harvester used at the toll highway construction in Khimki forest. A
guard spotted us at the moment of lighting the fire, but was too scared
to intervene. We did manage to leave the area without harming him or any
of his fellows (nice bastards that they were, sleeping next to their
precious vehicle going up in flames) - ELF-russia"
"03.26.2011 A group of eco-anarchists liberated more
than 50 dogs from homeless dogs harborage in Syktyvkar, Komi Republic,
Russian Federation. The reason for this action was that, according to
animal rights groups of the region, in the past all the dogs that had
been imprisoned in this harborage were eventually killed (throats cut
open with knives) and their bodies burnt in cremation chambers. -

"An ELF group claims responsibility for torching of a
workers' shed (the building was checked to ensure it was unoccupied
prior to the attack) at a treecut site in southern Moscow (Bitcevski
forest) on the night of april the 11th. An 5 liters of gasoline and
incendiary device for time delay were used because of close proximity to
guardhouse and serious sentry presence in the region. The forest has
seen numerous ecotage actions (spiking, torchings of vehicles and
storage sheds, etc), hence intense police attention. No photos or videos
were released. The shed and its contents exploded 5 minutes later for
unknown reasons. - ELF-Russia, International Network of Action and
Solidarity - Informal Anarchist Federation"
"Urban guerillas" in Moscow have claimed responsibility
for the torching of a large excavator at a condominium construction site
near the Bitcevski forest on April 9. The condominium is being built in
part by the Russian Military Intelligence Service. Military personel are
supposed to be stationed in the building. Video from the action and the
Russian communique available here:

"On the night of april the 5th, 2011, an excavator was
set aflame and exploded 10 minutes later at the highway construction
site that cuts through forests of Moscow region.
"A group of ELF activists reports a bank firebombed on
the night of March the 12th. Windows broken and 4 molotovs (3 litres of
gasoline total) thrown inside the office made for a nice and bright
firestorm. Bank we have chosen to attack plays major role in
providing financial support for deforestation project in Khimki forest:
it loaned out about 29 biliion rubles to the contractors responsible for
toll highway construction that has already killed acres of forest north
of Moscow. We express tender solidarity with anarchists from Belarus
who suffer from state repression for taking an active position against
destruction of our forests (they are blamed for a firebombing attempt at
russian embassy in Minsk, Belarus). And we call for decentralized
actions against Sberbank of Russia, Vinci company and Belarus government
offices overseas on March the 15th (or later, nevermind the date) on
behalf of our belarus comrades.
"2 cars of state officials were torched in Moscow on March 2nd
and March 3rd.
The vehicles were targeted because they belong to state officials working for
the municipality that is engaged in corrupt scheme of gentrification project in
southern Moscow and destruction of region's forests.
"Building of a bourgeois cottage settlement takes place in
Moscow region
(Russia) in a place called Opaliha. As usual such a building stationed in
a nice forest area on the banks of the lake Lesnoe (in Russian this name
means 'Foresty'). Nowadays there are huge forest felling of gentle pine
trees and water grounds are being destroyed due to the massive building
works and excavations. So, forest and lake are for sale, privatization and
finally - destruction. We can't accept it!
In late evening 19th February 2011 we, true daughters and sons
of Nature,
burned the depot of combustible building materials settled in one of the
unfinished cottages. This leaded to a huge fire in the whole building. We
also burned electric transformer and so brought for these killers of
Mother-Earth considerable damage.

"Early in the night of february 19 2011, under the light of full
moon, we torched caterpillar bulldozer at the glade in Khimki forest north of
Moscow, Russia. State and private capitals have merged in order to build the
road through forest - we're making them pay for every tree they cut.
Fiery solidarity with Mikalaj Dziadok, Aliaksandar Fratskevich,
Ihar Alinevich and Maksim Vetkin - anarchists from Belarus (accused of various
molotov cocktails attacks on state and capital offices), Adrian Magdaleno
Gonzales and Braulio Arturo Duran from Mexico, Walter Bond ('ALF Lone Wolf')
from USA, anarchists from Chili (Bomb Case), and those comrades persecuted in
Greece for supposed membership in Conspiracy Cells of Fire."
"In the midnight of Jan 27th, a group of ELF activists
set out to the construction yard, situated in the forest in the southern
suburbs of Moscow. Despite the site being brightly lit by numerous light
masts, we managed to crawl right up to the vehicles (Caterpillar
bulldozer and another unidentified one) with 10liters of gasoline and
some rags. Guards were either drunk or asleep in their special sentry
car, so up in flames the dozers went. Our scout reported fire to be
blazing brightly 5 minutes after we left the site (and still no alarm),
so we hope the engines will burn good tonight.
P.S. The company attacked is the same one that's
responsible for destroying Khimki forest due north of Moscow (more about
the problem can be found at khimbkibattle.org)
"On the nights of january 19th and 21st a group of ELF
activists carried out two attacks on a winter sports complex, built in
the park in southern Moscow.
In the aftermath, one bobcat is burnt (5 liters of
gasoline and rags went all over and inside the vehicle), and a pavilion
that houses construction vehicles set on fire in numerous places."

"ELF torch highway construction vehicles during New Year
festivities
A new industrial development program kicks off in Russia
for Moscow region starting from 01.01.2011. It implies 90%
deforestation works that will hit what's left of local nature and
wildlife, with numerous problems in tow like draughts, fires, polluted
air and further deterioration of city ecology. So in a gesture of
contempt and defiance of these plans we set 2 excavators and an
asphalt-laying contraption. Vehicles went up in flames soon after the
clock hit 12 am, to the sound and light of various fireworks. It was a
sight to behold."
"A tracked dozer was torched by a group of ELF activists
during the night of the full moon (22-23 of december). The vehicle was
used as part of a gentrification project in a Moscow region, where local
authorities decided to build an elite housing on the shores of a
picturesque forest lake. As usual, the rich should pay a little more for
their arrogance and disdain for common people (who were robbed of a
place to walk and swim at), but most of all - for their raping of
nature. Merry crisis and a happy new fear from russia!
"On November the 15th, the International Day of
Solidarity Actions in support of Khimki Hostages (more info can be
found at http://khimkibattle.org/), we attacked vehicles used at the
construction of yet another nature-hostile project: highway built right
through the forest in small town Zhukovskii, some 70 kms east of Moscow.
Construction was started on the very day of an ecological protest that
was organized by liberal eco-activists. So on that very night we decided
to protest against deforestation as well.
"The quiet stillness of forest night was ripped apart by a sound
of explosion as the wheeled dozer was destroyed by an ELF group.
The torching took place at night october 17 - october 18 year
2010 at a place of tree logging in Butovo forest to the south of Moscow.
A column of black smoke could be seen from several miles away,
highlighted by a bright halo from the nearby airport.
We want to express our solidarity with moscow antifascist
Gaskarov and belarus anarchists, who are being repressed for their fight in
defense of Khimki forest region of Moscow.
"On July 17 2010 a tracked tree transporter was torched by a
group of elf
activists. The action took place at the road construction site near
Sheremetjevo airport in Himki forest, North of Moscow, Russia. We support
local activists in their fight against deforestation campaign of Moscow
authorities, although we disapprove of their half-hearted liberal tactics.
"On thursday, July the 8th a bulldozer was torched in the
northern Moscow at the construction site. City authorities decided they can go
about ordering destruction of plant life and what's left of forests in Moscow
area. We thought they should pay. Dozer was covered with tree branches and
foliage (construction site is situated in the freshly-cut grove), an assortment
of rags and construction garbage. Then set aflame.
"At night 27th of April in Moscow (Russia) the building
of the business-center 'Aurora Business Park' in the Sadovnichaya
street. Stones, tins with paint and smoke pellets were thrown into
the windows, after what the assaulters dispersed themselves in the
yards and disappeared. The communique tells: 'In the business center
there are offices of the two pharmaceutical companies Novartis and
Sanofi-Aventis. Both of them are the customers of Huntingdon Life
Sciences, the largest contract laboratory, carrying out animal
experiments'."
"December 5, in Izhevsk two locks on the entrances of
the fur shop were filled with glue with the help of syringe, and the
key holes were plastered over with the cold welding. Two big
billboards were slashed, walls and sign - pelted with paint bombs.
November 27, in Sochi at the billboard of the fur shop
'The furs of Scandinavia' a slogan 'Fur = murder!' was painted. The
same inscriptions appeares near the fur shops in the centre of the
city.
November 26, in Petrozavodsk two fur shops were attacked
with the paint bombs. On the walls of the shops spray painted
inscriptions appeared: 'Killers!', 'Fur is murder!', 'Give up wearing
fur!'. Similar slogans were painted on the walls of buildings on the
center of the city."
"25th October - more than 5 'Russian Furs' company fur
exposition ads were removed from the streets of Saint-Petersburg.
19th October - spray painted slogans 'Fur is murder!',
'Leave fur for animals!' and others appeared on the central fur shop of
the Izhevsk city. The activists also threw paint bombs at the sign and
the door of the shop. Some similar inscriptions were made on the
buildings in that district of the city.
4th October - spray painted slogans and stencils such as
'Fur is murder!', 'Stop the slaughter!', 'Go vegan!', 'Meat is cruel!'
and others appeared on the walls of several fur shops and butchers in
Petrozavodsk and also on the walls of buildings in the center of the
city.
3th October - a tractor and an excavator were burnt down
at the site area of the heat trace in Butovo district, Moscow. The Earth
Liberation Front claimed the responsibility for the action. The
communique tells that hundreds of trees are to be hacked out for the
construction."
July 28, 2008 -- Slogans Painted on Fur Shop
reported by the Russian Animal Liberation
Front Supporters Group:
"July 4th, St. Petersburg: On fur shop 'Fur paradise' spray-painted
slogans: 'Fur - murder!', 'Your fur coats in blood!' and etc."
