Until a few years ago, there was little opposition to bullfighting in Spain.
Now, the time-honoured bloody spectacle risks being outlawed in Catalonia. Is
the game up for la corrida?

...For years the bullfight was an aspect of Spanish culture that admitted no
debate: it was beyond discussion, immutable and inscrutable, and if the callow
expatriate felt there was something not quite right about the corrida, he would
be wise to keep his opinions to himself.
But a groundswell is forming...
