To release mink into the wild is a strategy that
demonstrably is working, the number of mink that survive such a release

Geographically however, a mink release isn't always

company car belonging to a halal store. After two days they had replaced
the windows and then we burned down the car. Meat is murder!

hidden location of the mink farm in Kode, outside Gothenburg, Sweden.
The owner Tryggve Leandersson is also a board member of the Swedish Fur
Breeders' Association. The Farm holds 1500 breeding females, packed
in small cages without any litter. Ten individuals were rescued from
the cages and a hundred breeding cards torn down. Tryggve Leandersson

To celebrate early Easter, we saved 68 rabbits, the
easter bunny's closest cousin, from the lab breeder Estuna Sm�djursfarm
(ESF-Produkter AB) outside of Norrt�lje. Alarmed and secured the
windowless building seemed impossible to get in to so we were forced to
make our own rabbit hole. The ventilation system was the buildings
weakness. After taking apart the ventilation fan unit we crawled into
the ventilation space. From there we were able to drill and saw our way
into the area where the animals were kept.
We could not
believe the strong smell of urine and the sight of hundreds of rabbits
imprisoned in tight net cages with net bottoms which are against the
animal protection law. The rabbits were in a bad condition. One even had
a broken leg and we found several dead young rabbits. We wish that we
could have liberated all of the individuals but unfortunately we only
had loving homes for the 68 who have now began their new lives. Peaceful
lives far from the horror labs at Astra Zeneca, Smittskyddsinstitutet
and Karolinska Insitutet where they would have ended up. After we
transported the animals away from the farm we destroyed the breeding
program by removing all breeding cards. ESF- Produkter AB have been in
business for 30 years. We now have our eyes on them and we will not give
up until all rabbits are free.

stark urin och s�g hundratals

n�tburar utan fast botten i strid med djurskyddslagen. Kaninerna var i
allm�nt d�ligt skick. En hade till och med ett brutit ben och flera d�da
ungar p�tr�ffades. Vi �nskar att vi kunde befriat samtliga individer men
dessv�rre hade vi bara k�rleksfulla hem till 68 stycken som nu har
b�rjat sina nya liv. Fridfulla liv l�ngt bort fr�n skr�cklaboratorierna
p� Astra Zeneca, Smittskyddsinstitutet och Karolinska Insitutet d�r de
annars hade hamnat. Efter att vi transporterat bort djuren f�rst�rde vi
systematiskt
anl�ggningens avelsarbete genom att ta bort

We began cutting up protection fences to some areas, we didn't move to
any animal here because it's mainly seals and penguins here that is

animals from these windows, as animals aren't meant to live for our

Veterin�rmedicinska Anstalt i Uppsala. Ist�llet f�r att utnyttjas i
djurf�rs�k kommer de nu att f� leva familjeliv; springa i gr�set,
leka och �ldras i trygghet. De kommer att f� leva ett riktigt gott
hundliv.
Utnyttjandet av djuren har m�nga ansikten. Ett av dem �r
djurf�rs�kens. Slakterierna, grisfarmerna, p�lsfarmerna och
kycklingfabrikerna �r andra. Men lika m�nga s�tt som det finns att
bruka v�ld p�, lika m�nga s�tt finns det att g�ra motst�nd. Kraften i
medk�nsla och handling - att ingripa mot or�ttvisor - har lett till
stora f�r�ndringar i historien. Vi m�nniskor har f�rm�gan och
m�jligheten att skriva in oss sj�lva i historieb�ckerna som en art
som v�ljer empati och respekt framf�r utnyttjande, v�ld och d�dande.
Det �r ett val vi kan g�ra varje dag.
