Animal rights activists invaded Cambridge University

ANIMAL rights activists invaded Cambridge University yesterday.

The group poured into the Downing site in Tennis Court Road at 12.30pm
armed with placards and megaphones.

They were protesting over “cruel animal tests” – but were eventually
ejected by police after a stand-off with university security guards.

The campaigners, from Animal Rights Cambridge, were taking part in the
national University Vivisection Week of Action, which runs until
