A woman who waged a five-year blackmailing campaign of animal rights extremism against companies and individuals in the UK has been jailed.
Deborah Morrison, 35, from Dorchester, Dorset, pleaded guilty to 12 offences which included six charges of blackmail at Stafford Crown Court last October.
The offences involved sending threatening letters and emails. She has been jailed for eight months.
One firm she targeted had links with Darley Oaks Farm in Newchurch, Staffs.
Darley Oaks Farm bred guinea pigs for research until January 2006.
