Executive's Home, Cars Vandalized; Supplier to Notorious Animal Testing Laboratory Orange County, CA: In an anonymous communique received by the North American Animal Liberation Press Office, the Animal Liberation Front claims to have ruined the paint jobs on an executive's luxury automobile and home in retaliation for his company's role in supporting animal testing. Paul Moravek, of Fullerton, is owner of Moravek Biochemicals, a known supplier of notorious contract animal testing company Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS), Europe's largest such company. Huntingdon Life Sciences has been under increased attack lately, with product-tampering episodes costing companies dealing with HLS millions of dollars in damages in the last month alone.
Thousands of tubes and bottles of Savlon anti-septic were been pulled off store shelves in the UK last month, not long after a similar episode in France concerning tainted contact lens solution.
All targeted companies were customers of Huntingdon Life Sciences, which has pressured UK authorities to arrest a number of animal rights activists there on trumped up charges in retaliation.
