Animal rights activist Harmony Qura lays spattered with fake blood in a giant meat tray during a protest to highlight the plight of factory farm animals on World Farm Animals day on the National Mall in Washington.

The day is observed in an attempt to put an end to animal suffering at factory farms and slaughterhouses.
