"We bought the freedom of a dove who was captured in the
streets of Caracas, Venezuela and was destined to be sold for santeria
(witchcraft) sacrifices. If it wasn't already clear to the owners and
customers of this pet store, trafficking in animals is wrong, and that
if they continue this activity we will initiate a boycott campaign
against this dirty business. Later we released her a large open
space. We know that what we did was not a heroic act of liberation;
we only gave a second chance at life to a dove and we hope to have
created a little bit of awareness in people who benefit economically
from animal slavery, though we ourselves were responsible for this."
