Day 12: Support Animal Liberation

Our third annual Operation: Twelve Days of Xmas is now
coming to a close. For the past two years, we have
closed the 12 Days with messages that we hope were
inspiring and empowering, in support of the ALF, the
Animal Liberation Front. In this new world order,
where caring activists are sentenced to prison time
for speaking out against injustice, it is hard to know
where the line is anymore. Are we violating the AETA
by saying that we support animal liberation? In the
USA, the ALF is listed as the number one domestic
terrorist threat. Does that make us guilty of being
enemies of the State for supporting them? Could it
be possible that in the 'land of the free and home of
the brave', we must now be afraid to say that we
support the ALF?
The ALF as well as other animal liberation
organizations have operated across the USA for over 25
years. In that time, there has not been a single
injury or death attributed to them or even tangential
to their actions. Yet, our government, at every given
opportunity, labels them as terrorists and elevates
them to the same level as those who would wantonly and
without remorse take human life. Not to mention the
avaricious scumbags who kill countless billions of
animals to satisfy their hunger, their greed and their
self interest. Yet, we must now wonder, if we will be
jailed for speaking out in support of the ALF.
Take a moment this holiday season to reflect on the
billions of animals that are brutally killed for food,
for clothing, for product testing and the billions
that are living in abject misery to produce products
for us or to entertain us. Then think about the ones
that were liberated by the ALF. The ones that are
living wild and free as they were meant to be or those
that have been taken into loving caring homes where
they will have the chance to live their lives in peace
and comfort and treated with dignity.

Each and every one of us has the power to take a stand
against injustice. In this time of government
repression, the animals need you now more than ever
before. If we succumb to fear and intimidation, who
will speak out for those who have no voice?
Our gift to you this holiday season is our pledge that
we will never give up and never give in. We will
stand firm and proudly support the Animal Liberation
Front. Please join us and stand with us in
solidarity. Take up the tool of your choice, be that
your checkbook or a monkey wrench and use your chosen
tool to right wrongs and to fight injustice wherever
and whenever you see it. We have the power to take
victory away from the animal enterprise lobby. Stand
proud and strong, raise your chosen tool in your
clenched fist and let them know that WE WILL NOT BE
SILENCED.
In solidarity until all are free,
