Cease Animal Torture
(CAT) presents the Animal Liberation Forum 2010
Last spring, Cease Animal
Torture (CAT) launched their first ever
Animal Liberation Forum in April 2009
at California State University
Long Beach. CAT's Forum was the first
conference concerning animal
liberation in all of CSULB's 60 year history.
Continuing to make history for the animals, CAT presents their 2nd
annual
Animal Liberation Forum from Thursday April 15 - Sunday April
18, 2010. Cease
Animal Torture welcomes an array of speakers and
participants who will share
their perspectives, tactics, strategies
and experiences through panels,
workshops, films and discussion. The
Animal Liberation Forum is a space where
activists will be able to
network, organize with others and ultimately,
become more efficacious
for the animals.
Presentations include: the
connection between animal liberation and
feminism, the roles of farm
sanctuaries, media, and grassroots
activism, how to keep active under AETA,
and maintaining an inclusive,
international abolitionist movement.
Organizations including North American Animal Liberation Press Office
(NAALPO), Eko Zone, Band Of Mercy, The Vegan Collection, and Animal
Acres
will be tabling with literature, cruelty-free merch and more!
