A rare species of owl rescued by DOYA volunteers at mothadang village, sivasagar, on 16 april 2008 in the state of injury (fractured right leg). the bird was taken to vet, hospital and after treatment sent to wild life rehabilitation centre of bonjuri, bokakhat, assam, India.
