The Tucson Weekly has done an in-depth article and pictures on animal rights/welfare, and the issues that confront all of us who care deeply about animal suffering. It is a long article, but very well worth the read. It profiles activists and discusses the issues that leaves one unable to deny the horrors that befall animals. If only there weren't so much apathy among humans, these atrocities could not stand the light of day. The article is even featured as the front page, "Thanksgiving is Murder on Turkeys," it shouts.
