On March 9, 2012, Missouri (The "Show Me"
state)
turned back the clock on animal rights progress.
Missouri
State representative Ward Franz introduced
House Bill (HB 1513) which
excludes future legislation
that would give rights to animals.
Whip or kick a family dog? Sure, why not. Animals
do not have rights,
according to Show-Me state
politicians.
Beat the cows and pigs
before slaughter like the
Chinese do to dogs because adrenaline flavors
meat? Sure, why not? Animals do not have rights,
according to
Show-Me state politicos.
Language included in the proposed bill:
"The laws of this state shall not confer upon any
animal a right,
privilege, or legal status that is
equivalent or that exceeds a right,
privilege, or
legal status as that which this state confers by
law
upon a human being."
Ward Franz is a real American. At a recent
fundraiser, he offered Missouri supporters a
chance to own one of these
show-me-state tools:

Who is Ward
Franz? Representative Franz attended
Southwest Missouri Baptist
University and is employed
by the state of Missouri as a Juvenile
officer. Last
year, after his 18-year-old son was arrested for
stealing a Taco Bell sign, Franz called in favors so
that his son was
charged as a juvenile and got off
with community service. Nobody messes
with a guy who
raffles off assault rifles.
The same day that
Missouri's proposed animal-wrongs
bill was introduced, The editor of an
online dairy
website (Dairy Herd Network, Tom Quaife) wrote:
"Take
the threat of agroterrorism seriously"
In Tom Quaife's Dairy Herd
Network editorial, we read:
"Since 2005, I have had the opportunity
to attend four
conferences on agroterrorism sponsored by the Federal
Bureau of Investigation. They are serious affairs,
considering the
subject matter...An intentional attack
on the food supply could cost
billions of dollars and
undermine public confidence."
Note to
animal rights activists: If you belong to
an animal rights or vegetarian
organization, be
cautious of that new radical member. He is there to
entrap you and score points for his miserable career
which views
honorable and ethical vegans as America's
worst form of terrorist. Like
generals leading troops
during the Viet Nam war, exaggerated body counts
were
essential tools which continued an unjust war. Today's
new
unjust war is the one America is waging against
those who would see
animals treated with compassion.
