The substance cocaine is illegal for a reason - it helps control the people who deal with it. Pit bulls are always the dog of choice for dog fighters. Enacting pit bull bans will help control dog fighting ventures, just as cocaine laws help halt the spread of this illicit substance. Pit bulls ARE the most abused dog on this planet because thugs and gangs use them for dog fighting ventures, to protect their crack houses, and dangerous weapons against police...

However, this nation has gone to the pit bulls. Animal activists in fact is the dog fighter's best friend and advocate to protect their right to breed as many pit bulls as they like...

Ed note: Almost all ARAs are against breeding of any kind, much less protecting anyone's right to breed as many dogs as they want. Also, not all ARAs are against Breed-Specific Legislation if it doesn't affect existing dogs. As always, we never trust arguments based on generalizations.
