(ADL-LA NOTES: We are asking that the newly appointed AGM of LAAS Debbie Knaan, watch the entire half hour program as well. Ms. Knaan was not the most experienced of the candidates who sought to get the AGM position here in L.A, and many were disappointed as to her effectiveness as an LAAS commissioner. But ADL-LA is hopeful that she can learn to be an effective AGM and help the humane community in making sure that the animals get the chance at No Kill.

Ms. Knaan along with the mayor's side kick Jim Bickhart, was in favor of Boks being appointed as General Manager, and the animals of this city are paying for his appointment with their lives.

We are hoping that Ms. Knaan will seek out those who are most knowledgeable and have proven to be able to get city shelters on the road to No Kill. Instead of playing politics, we ask that she step up to the plate and begin doing those things that will save tens of thousands of innocent animals from being dragged to the kill rooms of LA like garbage.

ADL-LA will be keeping you up to date as we hear from our inside sources about Ms. Knaan's abilities and the courage she needs to call forth in order to be an effective AGM. )
