Deer Slaughter Protestor from Bite Club KC Arrested

A Lenexa animal rights activist who has protested the culling of the deer herd in Shawnee Mission Park was arrested Wednesday for violating a protection order.

Scott Miller, leader of the Bite Club KC, was arrested for violating a protection order from Michael Meadors, director of the Johnson County Park and Recreation district. The same day, he posted $5,000 bond and was released.

A court date for Miller is scheduled on Jan. 29.
