Dear Friend,
I just took action to reduce songbird deaths at cell towers, which are
responsible for killing millions of songbirds every year, according to the U.S.
Fish & Wildlife Service. The Federal Communication Commission is finally (after
years) looking this problem but they need to do more to really get to the bottom
of how birds are impacted by the thousands of communications towers out there.
You can help by submitting comments to ask that the FCC do a full blown
environmental impact statement so that the true impacts on birds is known.
It's quick and easy to send a comment to the FCC at the National Audubon
Society's Action Center. Just follow the instructions below.
