WAR & NY-ALFs March in Veggie Pride Parade

WAR & NY-ALFs March in Veggie Pride Parade
Sunday - May 16, 2010

Join animal rights and animal liberation activists as we march for the animals and their liberators in the 3rd annual Veggie Pride Parade in New York City. To see pictures and read the WAR report from last year's parade and the post parade demo reports, check out:

Last year's parade was a lot of fun and many came up to our contingent to thank us for standing up in this day and age of police repression to support the animal liberation underground, in addition to representing Win Animal Rights (WAR) a group that does only legal, above ground campaigns and activities.

For more information about the parade, check out the program guide here:

We will be meeting a block away from the parade meetup point. To march with the animal liberation contingent come in costume, dressed entirely in black (black t-shirts with white writing like the WAR t- shirts are fine) or black and green as we will be marching under the black & green flag. Bring your own bandanas and accessories or purchase from us at the pre-parade meetup spot noted just below. You can also bring stuffed animals symbolic of those that have been liberated and those who wait to be liberated or appropriate signs. ALF Support and Direct Action t-shirts would be great. If you don't want to come in costume/dress in black, that's okay too. Come anyway!
