Christ Led Like A Sheep to Slaughter

During the Stations of the Cross yesterday, tears hit when we read, "He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth." A reminder that our Savior's suffering is compared in Scripture to animal suffering. I also thought of Wes William's reflections on the stations related to animal suffering:

Peace to you this Holy Saturday and may the joy of the resurrection be yours.
