Animal Liberation

Accustomed no more to the abuse

Now shed a tear seeing the reality

Inching toward resolution

More and more unveiled before my eyes

Animals never deserving the cruelty bestowed

Loving them more than most mankind

Liberation a justified cause

If only finding more released

Blinded in the past to the cruel

Evermore now seeing the truth

Reality of what must be done

Affecting the future for all to see

Taking action in defense of those in need

Internal woe for those already fallen aside

Onto one battle from the last

Not once living in regret

~

Fighting for those without a voice

Reassured by those at my side

Only strengthening the fight to go on

Never to surrender

The battle has only seen its "dawn"
