More Cruelty on 'Steve Harvey's Big Challenge':
On Sunday, Feb. 13, the Steve
Harvey 'Bigtime Challenge' show (WB Ch 11, 9 - 10 pm in NYC, check local
listings for time, station, etc) featured diving pigs - as he proudly announced,
"From an eight-foot high diving board" into a pool of water appx four feet deep.
Three pigs climbed a narrow ladder to the diving platform; there was obviously
no way for them to go back down.
Two pigs hesitantly jumped. The third animal was OBVIOUSLY TERRIFIED, AND
REFUSED.
THE AUDIENCE BEGAN CLAPPING AND YELLING 'JUMP, JUMP' and 'GO PIGGY GO.' THEN
THEY BEGAN STOMPING, YELLING, 'JUMP NOW, JUMP NOW.'
MORON 'JUDGE' TRACY ROSS, DIANA ROSS' DAUGHTER, YELLED, 'MAN, I COULD SURE GO
FOR A BLT!' STEVE HARVEY YELLED 'BACON AND EGGS!' 'THE PIG IS CHICKEN.'
THE THIRD PIG FINALLY DEFECATED IN FEAR, WHICH CAUSED STEVE HARVEY TO SCOLD HIM.
NOT ONE DAMN PERSON IN THE ENTIRE STUDIO EXPRESSED THE REMOTEST CONCERN FOR
THESE ANIMALS. THE LAST SHOT WAS OF THIS POOR ANIMAL BACKING UP IN FEAR. I
FELT SICK WATCHING IT.
WHAT IS GOING ON? ARE WE GOING BACKWARDS AS A SOCIETY? HAVE WE MADE NO
PROGRESS???

THAT'S THEIR BUSINESS - BUT TELL THEM TO LEAVE THE ANIMALS ALONE!!!
PLEASE CONTACT the American Humane Association, which is 'mandated' to stop
animal cruelty in movies and on tv. (they
actually receive money for this task that they perform poorly) DEMAND THAT THEY
PUT A STOP TO THE CRUELTY ON THIS SHOW. They never responded to the last
contact re this show - probably too busy counting their money.
