I write to send you a new song that we've composed to see if you could upload it in ALF's site, because we need Spanish pro bullfights to know that people outside from Spain is also against the "corridas". Activist in Spain have done several actions to express their nonconformity with this cruel tradition. Equanimal jumped into the bullring with posters where people could read "Abolition" in Madrid and Alicante. Yesterday they jumped and tried to chain themselves in a street for the bulls not to go out in "san Fermines" (You Know all the stupid traditions that we have in Spain). Activist of "igualdad Animal" also hung from the bullfight "plaza" with posters that said the same "Abolition" and jumped into the bullring in Barcelona where police gave them a beating. Now is being a lot of activism in Spain against this cruel tradition, so we've made a song called "Bullfighter's Rock" (El Rock del Torero). With this new song that we have created, the musical band Lyvon adds to the more of the 70 % of Spanish population that affirms not to have any interest in bullfights. In addition we demand the abolition of them and the retreat of the subsidies that go out from the taxes that they charge from the incomings of our daily work.
Bullfighter's Rock (El Rock del Torero), it is a song protest that condemns bullfighting, and with it, we ask ,as citizens of Spanish country, to withdraw completely this back warded feast with no ethic and morality. This Spanish "fiesta" denigrates us as citizens with regard to the rest of Europe, and educates our children in an environment of cruelty and indifference towards the animals and which slows down our condition of advanced and respectful people, with our environment and animals.
Therefore, we lift our voices in opposition to this torture, disguised as "art", "tradition" and " sacrificial ritual" and ask our leaders to listen to the majority of the citizens of our country and to the voices of other foreign citizens that declare in opposition to this barbarism called bullfights.
